Hi, I’m Barb—the mom of four and “Gramma” to five, and the founder of Cool Parties 4 Kids. I’ve always loved bringing family together through themed parties, game nights, holiday traditions, and little everyday surprises. Now I share ideas and printables to help other families enjoy more of those moments, too.
Everything here is created with busy families in mind. Printable party kits, celebration tools, and simple ideas designed to help you make memories without the overwhelm.

My love of celebrating comes from a family heritage filled with cooks, bakers, and people who knew how to make others feel loved through food, beauty, and tradition. That spirit inspires everything I create. (My Danish side is descended from the Kringles, and who knows how to celebrate better than them. :))

Meet Barb
I’m Barb — founder of Cool Parties 4 Kids, mom of four, and “Gramma” to five wonderful grandkids. Life has taken me on some incredible adventures—I’ve gone spelunking through caves, piloted an airplane solo, and even toured the Pacific Command with USO. But without a doubt, the greatest adventure of all has been being a mom to my four amazing kids (now grown) and “Gramma” to my five joyful grandkids.
When my children were young, I loved creating themed family nights, cheering them on in Cub Scouts, and leading our 4H Horse Club. Those moments taught me how powerful celebrations can be in bringing people together, strengthening relationships, and making kids feel seen and loved.
Celebrating is part of my heritage, too. I come from a long line of cooks, bakers, and holiday lovers who believed that food, beauty, and tradition are all expressions of love. From my great-grandmother’s legendary baking to my mother’s beautifully crafted dishes, I grew up surrounded by creativity and hospitality. Those memories continue to inspire everything I create today.
